Teaching Testimonials

Sarah is an exceptional teacher.  I wanted to learn how to sing and within the first 30 mins of my lesson, I realised that I could!  Apparently everyone can, we just need to be shown a couple of pointers to enable the voice to do its thing.

Loved it! and grateful for the opportunity to have learned with Sarah and would and do recommend her to anyone wanting to learn how to sing.  Go on, you know you wanna!

I had a class with Sarah during my teacher yoga teacher training in Sydney. Sarah gave me some wonderful tools to help me use my voice more effectively and I learnt brilliant exercises for extending my breath. Sarah creates a supportive and nurturing environment in her classes. What was most surprising and wonderful about her class was the sense of empowerment and increased confidence I felt at the end. Thank you so much Sarah for your help, highly recommended!

Sarah ran a morning yoga workshop for some of our staff and she was fantastic.  Her manner is very professional but also caring and she is clearly very knowledgeable about her field.  She made the session accessible to people of all levels and everyone loved her energy.

Thankyou for showing me where my voice lives!  I was nervous and you made me feel so comfortable.  My voice is stronger and I am not so out of breath.  I think what you do is amazing and has made a difference not only in my teaching but in my daily life.

Inspiring, engaging, enteraining!  Sarah put together a wonderful afternoon for 30 of our most musical year 9 students at Laurence Jackson School.  Following a brilliant talk about her own career and careers generally within the music industry she gave and amazing performance of Lady Macbeths aria (Verdi) which had our students enthralled.

There was also an opportunity for our own students to perform and receive some really great feedback from Sarah.  I was so grateful Sarah agreed to visit at a time when the arts and particularly music are under so much pressure.  Students were talking about the event for days afterwards with many inspired to choose GCSE Music and seriously consider a career path in music.  Thanks so much Sarah!
